SOFTSHELL JACKET SPECIAL FORCES

High-performance cold protection jackets are used in really cold weather. When developing the softshell jacket, care was taken to achieve weather resistance at moderate temperatures and at the same time ensure the necessary freedom of movement. Protection against rapid cooling (windproof thanks to the GORE Windstopper membrane) in combination with high breathability are the most important properties required here. Even in light showers, high-quality softshell fabrics can easily keep the wearer dry, but are not a fully-fledged replacement for rain jackets. In combination with base layers, the softshell multifunctional jacket is very versatile and also enables activities in the +5°C range thanks to the increased freedom of movement.
