The Vortex Razor HD 4000 Distance Meter can measure the exact distance of objects located at a distance of up to a whopping 3658 meters (4000 yards).

The Razor HD 4000 is the essential companion for the extreme hunter, archer and shooter. This highly effective angle-compensated laser rangefinder has four aiming modes (normal mode, front mode, rear mode and extended laser range mode) for any environment.
The HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) mode is intended to be the main mode. The distance shown is the distance of the horizontal component.

The HCD can be used in the following situations:

• Measuring distance on a flat surface at any range.
• Measuring distance up to a range of 731 meters (800 yards) with a slight slope
• ( less than 15 degrees ).
• Measuring distance up to a range of 365 meters (400 yards) with a moderate slope
• ( from 15 to 30 degrees ).
   

The Razor HD 4000 also has an LOS (Line of Sight) mode that displays actual line-of-sight distance and a scan function that displays continuous distance measurements so that moving objects, such as a group of game running away, can be tracked.

The Razor HD 4000 uses HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) technology. This makes it possible to give bow and rifle shooters the distance data needed to shoot accurately.

• 1/4" Tripod connection, allowing use on a tripod.
• Attachment option for a lanyard so it can be hung around the neck. A clip is also attached to the side of the Razor HD 4000, allowing it to be easily slipped around a belt.
